Analyzing differences amoung Acetal Copolymer and Dupont Delrin in Sheet and Rods

Dupont Delrin is the perfect plastic for turning on a machine lathe. It is very easy to turn, although it requires slow speeds. I use this plastic to make Scottish small pipes chanters. Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are incredibly tough and easily machinable, and they have very comparable physical properties. They do appear similar, but for practical uses there are a few differences that can make one preferable than the other. It also depends on your application.
