Teflon (TFE) and Kynar both are on allocation.

TFE sheet  products, PTFE (TFE) as well as PVDF  manufacturing requires a mineral called Fluorspar that is mined in Mongolia and China. The world requirement for this mineral has grown significantly, and also the supply has tightened. PTFE materials have high temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance and extremely low co-efficient of friction (slick) and is utilized in tons of purposes from non-stick fry kitchenware to ptfe tape for home use. This particular mineral is a important raw materials inside the manufacturing of fluoropolymers, fluorolubricants and lots of refrigerants. This increased demand coupled with general shortage of raw materials has caused a dramatic price increase (almost double in the last year), shortages, and we expect these two factors to keep at it in the near future.
